Although the American artist is best known for his abstract ‘black’ paintings, this exhibition focuses on over three hundred political cartoons, as well as satirical illustrations and collages taken from the New York State Archives. These works on paper are accompanied by a slide show of colour photographs, digitized by the artist, plus a number of his travelogues, sketches and leaflets.
