Jean Claude Gandur: "The collection held at the Fondation Gandur pour l'Art – which I started to build up almost 40 years ago – as of today boasts over 1,200 artefacts from the whole Mediterranean basin. The heart of my collection – over half the objects – is from Egyptian archaeology, while the rest comes mainly from Greece and the geographical area corresponding to the Roman Empire."
