Martin Barré
Les œuvres de la Fondation Gandur pour l'Art

The exhibition catalogue Martin Barré. Les œuvres de la Fondation Gandur pour l’Art invites the public to discover prints and detailed analysis of the 25 artworks of Martin Barré included in the collection of the Fondation Gandur pour l'Art, and which, for some, could not be exhibited at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen.

Edited by Bertrand Dumas, exhibition curator from the Foundation, the publication takes a holistic look at the artistic trajectory of Martin Barré. It offers some insights into the early days and development of Jean Claude Gandur's collection which grew, patiently and regularly, since 2009. This release includes several essays by art historians and specialists of Martin Barré's work, such as Michel Gauthier and Clément Dirié, who, in 2021, co-directed the artist's authoritative monograph.
