K.-en-K. by Öyvind Fahlströhm

The art of Öyvind Fahlström (São Paulo, 1928 – Stockholm, 1976) resides in his capacity, similar and contemporary to the Nouveau Roman, to build « image constellations that are impossible to read as simple narration » (Mike Kelley). It will be featured, among more than one hundred and thirty works from the Fine Arts collection of the Fondation Gandur pour l’Art, in the catalog La Figuration narrative (dir. Jean-Paul Ameline and Yan Schubert), which will be published by 5 Continents Editions in November 2017.
This artwork will be included in the catalogue raisonné of Öyvind Fahlström, in preparation under the direction of Sharon Avery-Fahlström.
