Participation to the restoration campaign of Skeleton in Armour, Walter Crane
The Fondation Gandur pour l’Art has supported the restoration campaign of Skeleton in Armour. This 1833 frieze by Walter Crane is made up of seven canvases that unfold as a narrative frieze over 30 meters. Acquired by the Réunion des Musées Métropolitains de Rouen in the spring of 2019, the work finds itself in variable states of conservation, requiring a complete restoration.
