Ancient Egyptian Art & Magic. Treasures from the Fondation Gandur pour l'Art, Geneva, Switzerland
The exhibition and catalogue Ancient Egyptian Art & Magic are composed of about 150 exquisite objects, a whole array of works of art from ancien Egypt which prospered over the course of almost 3000 years, from the Predynastic to the Ptolemaic period which precede the annexation of Egypt by the Roman Empire.

Far from setting up nature against civilization, "magic", which is also the key word of this exhibition, was also adopted by ancient Egyptians in order to lead the two towards a harmonious world. Going back to time immemorial, this exhibition not only give us an insight into the environment that nurtured their civilization but also allow us to witness the human wisdom or experiences and observations that were born there, as well as the magic of their imagination and analogies.
